It’s back! In true beginning of season form the Extras started very poorly. The four month break from rugby seemed to, for most, have escalated into a four month break from any kind of physical activity whatsoever.

Fortunately for Ampthill the Dunstablians could not manage to field their full compliment of fifteen in their team.

Tries came mostly from the backs who by far outpaced the ageing Dunstablian back line.

The forwards were represented in the try scoring count by Gav who managed a brace, one of which was a well taken line-out catch and a neat little dive over the line.

We expect a little better from here on in.
