The Extras started the day a little disappointed as they found out that there scheduled league game against Luton 3rds was called off.
An 11th hour fixture against Milton Keynes meant the Extras had a game for the afternoon. Arriving with only 12 players, Milton Keynes were loaned two players to try to even things up a little. This was nowhere near enough.
The game was extremely one sided with possession very rarely going to the visiting team.
Tries were abundant but pick of the day must have
been Brian Geary’s effort thus scoring on the day that he won Big Brother.
After Leigh Clark left the field to play for the 1st team and Roger Childs departed suffering concussion after a collision with an opponents knee, the extras were down to thirteen players, one less than their opponents. The tries still came flooding in.
