Bletchley 3^rd XV 0 - Ampthill Extras 36    

Props, know your limits! 

The Extras ran out as comfortable victors at Bletchley six tries the better of their hosts. The Extras were only two tries to nil up at half time thanks to Jack Wilison & Paul Saunders tries. Bletchley’s inside centre did look dangerous from the outset but Paul Saunders, Robert McInnes & Matt Taylor ensured his progression though the Ampthill line was thwarted at the early stage. 

When the huge Bletchley centre left the field injured the options left to the home team became limited. 

The second half certainly saw the better finishing and more determined defending from the visitors. Second half tries came for John Wilkinson, Dave Tomkins, Justin Cobley. Despite two previous knock ons, even Ash Hill managed to score a try. Ash then went onto confirm his prop status by missing two conversion attempts under the posts.
