Not Stocky Enough 

Ampthill overcame a Stockwood Park team on a bright sunny March afternoon playing on a hard dry pitch. 

With just fifteen players and no subs to bolster the squad, it came down to the old fellows, Dave Wheeler and Terry Norford to do eighty minutes each. 

Stockwood Park had an extremely fast set of backs and it was starving them of the ball that resulted in the visiting Extras coming home triumphant. 

Coach’s dream, Rob Campbell, scored two tries with youngster, Dinger Bell and not so young Gareth Williams getting a fourth.
