Ampthill Extras 40 – Stockwood Park 3^rd XV 5  

Extras take stock.  

The Extras made a pretty neat job of disposing of Stockwood on their visit to Dillingham Park. 

Play was delayed at the beginning of the game when an Ampthill player landed on the shin of one of Stockwoods’ locks. The resulting gash left a small pool of blood in the middle of the pitch. Once having left the field in stepped Extras’ Ian Browning to help the numbers reduced Stockwood team. 

John Kitchiner continued his fine form and scored another hat trick of tries. Phil Stanton, in between shoeing the often offside Browning scored a brace in his return at scrum half. Full back Tom Read also touched down for a try. Tom’s kicking was also in fine form missing only one of six conversion attempts.
