Olney, with just fourteen players were loaned Extra Ian Browning to even out the numbers.
It wasn't long before number 8, Del Welton crossed the line and put the Extras ahead. New to the Extras, Ian Campbell, was next to score and repeated this a few minutes later. Ian, who had spent the last few years performing well for Ampthill first team in order to gain entry into the Extras, made his mark for them with his 'jug' try later in the game.
Extras stalwart Gareth Williams scored twice and Del Welton added a further two to his tally before John 'Scouser' Roberts, steamed over the line in a convincing Extras' victory. Darren Jones converted 4 from eight and Rob Hill converted one try to add to the points.
A 'handbags' incident saw Tel Nelson join two Olney players in the sin bin late in the second half.
The only score for Olney came from their loaned player, Extras very own Johnny Jigsaw.
