Extras ‘Big Brother’.
On Saturday 2nd of September 17 volunteers turned out for what was to be a social experiment of physical stamina and mental endurance.
All seventeen made themselves available to play for
the Extras. Over the course of the next 28 weeks will try to continue their
availability to play every Saturday for the Extras.
Unlike a similar Channel 4 show these volunteers will not
be voted out but will gradually leave as a result of various factors. There may
be any number of contestants to leave each week, they may return, but as soon as
they are not available to play on a Saturday they are deemed to be out of the
show.
Of course if all contestants still in the show on a
particular week, the are available the next then no-one will be deemed to have
left the show that week.
The last player* left in will be eligible for a free tour**
at the end of the season.
Big Brother.
*Prize to be shared if more than one winner as at week before tour.
**Free tour means free accommodation & coach
travel for the Extras Tour 2001.

Week two departures.
Colin Moore – Colin jetted in from Texas just to take part in the ‘show’. From the start he had no intention of staying around until week two.
Gavin Griffith – It was the hard ground that was too much for Gavin to bear. I’m sure he’ll return to the show at a later date.
John
Roberts – Unlike TV’s
Scouser - John did not make it to the final week of this show. John was absent
from week two choosing to service aeroplanes instead.
